Stepahead Elite

Stepahead Elite represents a significant upgrade to traditional EVA devices. Composed of polyurethane, with longer-lasting foam memory, it is the material of choice for the at-risk foot, such as seen in Diabetic and Rheumatology clinics, but also offers the durability needed for sports and for patients who wear out EVA quickly.

Polyurethane is acknowledged as the material of choice for footwear due to its ability to withstand severe abrasion, keep its shape and return energy via its elastic recoil properties, making it ideal for the next generation of bespoke insoles from Salts Techstep.

Stepahead Elite features:

• Increased durability, returning to the original shape after every step over thousands of repeated loading cycles.
• Improved moisture control and no need for top covers. Polyurethane has the ability to ‘wick’ away moisture due to its open cell structure.
• Direct energy return. The elastic recoil properties give the wearer the feeling of progressive support and ‘puts a bounce in their step’.
• A choice of low and medium densities.
• Flexibility to be prescribed as any traditional device. Our CAD/CAM method is capable of emulating conventional methods in a fraction of the time.
