Stepahead Protect is aimed at supporting the at-risk-foot. It uses cutting edge technology to ensure an accurate capture of the foam box or cast of 
the foot. In a standard orthotic a degree of correction and shaping is applied to the cast to aid with patient compliance, however with the Stepahead Protect this is not the case.
The orthotic will match the osseous and soft tissue deformities of the foot to ensure that it is totally supported. It is therefore important that the foot impressions are an exact match of the foot as the finished orthotic will replicate it very closely. It is also advisable to send a template of the shoe to allow us to ensure an accurate fit to the patient’s shoes.
